It all started with a simple message. Chris reached out to Haley on social media just to see how she was doing, and before we knew it, those casual conversations turned into something so much more. After a couple of months of talking, we finally decided to meet in Nashville for a weekend together. From the moment we saw each other, there was an instant connection that neither of us could ignore.

Leaving Nashville, we both knew we didn’t want our time together to end. Soon after, Haley came up to Oak Island to visit over Memorial Day weekend, and those days together were the true beginning of our relationship.

Life has taken us on so many adventures since then. A new job moved us to Leland, right outside of Wilmington, where we’ve built a happy life together with our three dogs. Our days are filled with a mix of weekend getaways, cozy nights at home, and our favorite shared pastime — discovering new restaurants and cocktail spots around Wilmington.

They say, “when you know, you know,” and that couldn’t be more true for us. We’re endlessly grateful — to God, to fate, to the universe — for bringing us together. And now, we’re so excited to begin this next chapter as husband and wife.
